About Our Children’s Minister – Marie Young

Marie Young officially accepted the role of Children’s Minister in August 2010. She has been serving in an interim capacity since May 2010, and we are so excited that she has now become a permanent part of our staff!

Marie is one of our own. She and her husband, Josh, have been part of the ACC family since early in 2006. Josh is also on our staff as our Creative & Communications Minister, and they’re expecting their first little one in January!

Marie has been a part of Amelia KidZone for a long time. She has proven that she is very gifted and very passionate for this ministry. The kids in our church love her. She loves them. But most importantly, she loves Jesus and wants to teach our kids to love Him, too.

As the Children’s Minister at the Amelia Church of Christ, Marie works side by side with our staff of passionate volunteers, each of whom have been through thorough national background checks.  Marie and ACC are very serious about the safety of your children.
