Bible Story Focus:

Jesus teaches me to be a good friend.   Jesus calmed the storm for his friends.

STAND! in the Word (10:10 a.m.)

Secret Agent

BIG CITY STUDIOS (11:00 a.m.)

Knockout.  Satan tempted Jesus 3 times in the wilderness.  Each time Jesus replied with Scripture.  Every time we feel tempted, we need to hit the Book (Bible)  for answers.

Knot of the Week: Kids do NOT live by bread alone.

Reel Time:  Jesus resisted REAL temptation.

Secret Agent

BIG CITY STUDIOS (11:00 a.m.)

The Bug Man.  John the Baptist came to point people to Jesus.  Jesus was different.  He came to take away sin and not just cover it up.

Knot of the Week: Sacrifices will NOT take away sin.

Reel Time: John pointed people to the REAL Saviour.

God used John to prepare the world for Jesus.  Up to this point, sacrifices had been made to cover sin.  Jesus was different.  His whole purpose in his life was to take away our sin.

G.L.O.W.

G.L.O.W. (Girls Living Out the Word)

Exactly one month from today, Wednesday, February 11, we will be kicking off our new Girls Ministry called G.L.O.W.  This is for all girls in the 3rd – 8th grade. 

We will be meeting the 2nd Wednesday of each month at Miss Melanie’s house from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.  We will also have a monthly activity.  Please make sure you tell all of your friends and invite them to join us!

Can’t wait to see you there!

Jesus teaches me to be a good friend.  The Good Samaritan Luke 10:25-37

STAND! in the Word (10:10 a.m.)

Secret Agent

BIG CITY STUDIOS (11:00 a.m.)

Jesus Found at the Temple. Jesus was 12 when he was found at the temple.  We are never too young to serve.

Knot of the Week: I do NOT have to grow up to serve God.

Reel Time: Kids can do REAL ministry.

We have learned today that God has a plan for my life and we were created to serve whether we are 5, 10, 20 or 50.  I can be used for ministry!

Jesus Loves me.  Jesus and the children.  Luke 18:15-17

Secret Agent

BIG CITY STUDIOS (11:00 a.m.)

Smart Men Take a Road Trip.  These men were smart to understand that God was leading them to Jesus and to worship Jesus when they got there.

Knot of the Week:  Herod did NOT worship Jesus.

Reel Time:  Worshipping Jesus is REAL smart!
